Scrut will undergo scheduled maintenance on 5 July 2025, from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM IST and will be temporarily unavailable during this period. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and have scheduled this maintenance during off-peak hours to minimize disruption to your operations.

Maintenance Schedule

  • Date: 5 July 2025

  • Time: 04:30 to 13:30 GMT

  • Estimated Duration: 9 hours

  • Affected Services: Entire Scrut platform

System Upgrades

Our technical team will be implementing the following improvements during the downtime:

#1: Azure Integration Upgrade

Scrut is moving from a broad, tenant-based approach to a more granular, subscription-based model for our Azure integration. Previously, the Azure integration monitored all subscriptions within a connected tenant. With this enhancement, you can now select only the Azure subscriptions that are relevant to your compliance requirements.

For example, if your Azure tenant includes subscriptions for development, testing, and production environments, but only your production subscriptions are in scope for your ISO 27001 audit, you can now configure Scrut to monitor only your production subscriptions.

For step-by-step instructions, see here.

#2: Depreciation of a Few Legacy Cloud Tests

Scrut is deprecating the following cloud tests to enhance the overall compliance experience. After careful evaluation against current industry standards and best practices, we've identified tests that are no longer relevant. This process will streamline your Cloud module by reducing unnecessary complexity, allowing you to focus on relevant tests while maintaining a cleaner, more efficient dashboard.

For Azure, these tests are being phased out starting from version 3.0. This change is because the Azure App Service now has built-in tools and alerts to monitor and manage runtime version updates for supported stacks such as Python, PHP, Java, and .NET.
