This guide will help you navigate the People → Employees module and understand its key features and functionalities.
What is the Employee Module?
The Employee module in Scrut provides a centralized location to monitor and manage compliance status across your entire workforce. It allows HR, compliance, and security teams to:
Streamline employee onboarding, offboarding, and training
Track the compliance status of all personnel (full-timers, part-timers, interns, contractors, etc.)
Identify individuals who require follow-up action
Maintain employee-related evidence and compliance data for audits
Getting Started
To access the Employee module, sign in to Scrut and navigate to People → Employees from the left navigation panel. The Employee module is organized into two primary tabs: Overview and All Employees.

Overview Tab
The Overview tab gives you an at-a-glance view of your organization's compliance status across key employee activities.
Note:
The Overview tab displays data for Active employees only. An employee is considered as Active if they meet these criteria:
They are Personnel (not a system or bot)
They are part of your organization and have not been offboarded in Scrut
Key Metrics

At the top of the page, you'll find status cards showing completion metrics for critical compliance tasks:
Employees with Pending Tasks: Total number of employees with outstanding action items
Install Monitoring Agent: Count of employees who have installed the recommended monitoring agent on their device
Install Password Manager: Count of employees who have installed the recommended password manager on their device
Device Security: Number of employees who meet your required device security requirements (antivirus, hard drive encryption, screen lock)
Background Checks: Count of employees for whom background checks are completed
Note: If the Scrut Agent data has not been synchronized with the platform for more than 15 days, tasks related to Install Monitoring Agent and Device Security will be marked as "Pending."
Group Filter
Use this filter to check your employees' task completion status by group and metric.

Compliance Charts
Two pie charts provide visual insights into your team's compliance performance:
Policy Acceptance Rate: Shows the number of employees who have accepted the company policies
Employee Campaign Completion Rate: Displays the completion rate for training and awareness campaigns
All Employees Tab
The All Employees tab is your comprehensive workspace for viewing, filtering, and managing your entire workforce.
Employee Status Cards
You can filter your employee list by these statuses:

Active: Employees currently employed and active within the organization.
Offboarding Needed: Employees who have been terminated but haven't completed the offboarding process yet. Scrut automatically notifies admins to upload required documents, such as exit interviews and final paycheck details.
Offboarding Completed: Employees who have finished all offboarding requirements. You have uploaded all the required documents and clicked the “Complete Offboarding” button. Once you do this, Scrut marks them as ex-employees.
Non-Personnel: Entities that aren't individuals but still require compliance tracking, such as service accounts or system users.
Pro Tip!
The status cards are interactive. Clicking on them provides a filtered view of employees belonging to a specific status.
