FAQs

1: Can Scrut Teammates read content directly from website URLs while autofilling responses?

No, currently, Teammates cannot read content from external website URLs. This includes your organization’s documentation pages, legal policies, product status pages, or any other publicly accessible web content. Only content uploaded to your Trust Vault or Vault is used by Scrut Teammates to generate questionnaire responses.

Workaround: To make website content available to Scrut Teammates, download the relevant pages and upload them to the Vault. Teammates will then reference that content when responding to questionnaires.

2: What types of content can I add to the Vault?

You can upload documents such as security policies, privacy notices, compliance reports, and legal agreements. Any content you want Teammates to reference while answering questionnaires should be uploaded directly to the Vault.

3: What if my documentation is spread across multiple web pages?

Download each page separately and upload the files individually to the Vault. There is no limit on the number of documents you can add. Organizing uploads using folders (for example, legal, security, product documentation) can help you manage your Vault content over time.
