Assigning flagged (non-compliant) resources within a test finding establishes clear ownership and accountability at the most granular level. Rather than assigning responsibility for an entire test finding, this feature lets you designate specific individuals or teams for each flagged resource, ensuring the right people are responsible for addressing the exact issues they can control.
There are two ways of assigning flagged resources:
Assign a Single Resource
Click Compliance → Cloud on the left navigation panel.
Go to the Tests tab, and select your desired test.
Pro Tip: Use the search bar and filters at the top to quickly find specific tests.
Scroll to the Resources section and find the resource you want to assign.
Pro Tip: Use filters to narrow down resources by region, flag, or tags.
In the Actions column for your selected resource, click the Assignee icon.
The Manage Assignee window opens. From the dropdown menu, select the appropriate assignee for this resource.
Click Save.
Bulk Assign Multiple Resources
Click Compliance → Cloud on the left navigation panel.
Go to the Tests tab, and select your desired test.

Scroll to the Resources section and select the resources you want to assign.

Click the Assign to Users button at the top of the table.
The Manage Assignee window opens. From the dropdown menu, select the appropriate assignee for the selected resources.
Click Save.
Heads Up!
Scrut will notify the assignee about their new responsibility. The assignee can proceed with remediation following the recommended workflow.
