Who can use this feature
Supported on Foundation, Growth, and Scale plans
In Scrut, you can create an audit finding in two ways:
Create a Single Finding Manually
Sign in to Scrut, and click Audit → Audit Center.
Click on the audit for which you want to create a finding.

Scroll and click the Findings tab.
Click the Add Findings button and select Manually.

Enter the required details, such as:
Select the Entities associated with this finding. Choose Organization Wide to associate it with all entities.
In the Finding field, provide a clear and descriptive name that accurately reflects the issue.
Upload any relevant documents by dragging and dropping files or selecting them from your device.
In the Assignees dropdown menu, select one or more users responsible for resolving the finding, or choose No Assignee if you're unsure who to assign.
Choose the Nature of Finding:
Major: Indicates a significant issue that requires immediate attention.
Minor: Refers to a less critical issue that still requires attention.
Observation: Use this option for issues that may require further investigation but aren't necessarily findings.
Opportunity for Improvement: Highlights areas where processes or practices can be enhanced.
Select the department that the finding belongs to.
Use the description field to add additional details that may aid in understanding the finding.

In the next step, you can create a corrective action for the finding. Feel free to skip this if it's not applicable.
Note: You can also create a corrective action later, if required.
Finally, review all the information you've entered to ensure accuracy, and then click Create.

Bulk Import Multiple Findings
You can add multiple findings at once by bulk-importing them. Follow these steps:
Sign in to Scrut, and click Audit → Audit Center.
Click on the audit for which you want to create a finding.

Scroll and click the Findings tab.
Click the Add Findings button, then select Import via CSV/XLSX.

Click Download Sample Template. Replace the contents of the file with your list of findings.

Upload the filled template by dragging and dropping it or selecting it from your device.
Pro Tip!
See here for instructions on filling the template.
Click Save.

Scrut checks the template file for errors. If any errors are detected, download the spreadsheet from the Upload Status message to view them. Fix the spreadsheet and reupload it.

Tips for Using the Template

Do NOT remove the first row as it contains column headers.
You can enter the findings from the second row.
Create a row for each finding.
Mandatory fields: Finding Title, Nature of Finding, and Department.
All other fields are optional.
For the Nature of Finding and Department fields, the values must match those created in Scrut.
For the Assignees field, enter the assignees' email addresses, separated by commas. Email should match the assignees’ emails in Scrut.
