What is a Corrective Action?
In Scrut, a corrective action is a systematic approach to resolving compliance issues, non-conformities, or discrepancies within your organization. It’s designed not only to fix the immediate problem but also to prevent it from recurring. Here are a few example scenarios of when to use corrective actions:
When you discover compliance non-conformities or discrepancies during regular operations
When auditors identify areas of non-compliance or deficiencies during the audit process
How To Create a Corrective Action
In Scrut, you can create a corrective action in three ways:
Via Audit Findings: Address specific non-compliance issues identified by auditors as findings.
Via Audit Requests: Respond to auditor requests by creating targeted corrective actions to meet their requirements.
From the Corrective Actions module: Create standalone corrective actions through the Corrective Action module for issues not tied to a specific audit.
