Every risk in your Risk Register moves through multiple statuses during the risk management lifecycle. Scrut tracks six statuses, shown as metric cards at the top of the Risk Register.
Open: Identified risks. The risk has been recorded in Scrut but hasn't yet been assessed or scored.
Assessed: Initial risk assessment completed and mitigating controls linked. Scrut has calculated an inherent risk score for this risk.
Treatment in Progress: Risk treatment strategy selected, with a mitigation task or residual risk assessment still pending. See the Risk Assessment Workflow to understand how a risk reaches this status.
Monitor: Risk is under continuous monitoring, with residual risk still pending. See Monitor a Risk for instructions on moving a risk to this status and how it can transition further.
Treated: Residual risk computed and the mitigation plan finalized. The risk has been fully assessed and treated.
Closed: The risk is no longer relevant and has been closed.
