Onboard Vendors using an Intake Form

Prev Next

Who can use this feature

  • Included in the Scale plan

  • Available in the Vendor Advanced Add-on for Foundation and Growth plans

The Vendor Intake Form is a structured way to collect and review vendor procurement requests from employees directly in Scrut, instead of managing them over email or other ad hoc channels.

Start by creating a customized intake form in Vendor Settings. Once set up, the form is available in the Vendor Onboarding tab of the Scrut Employee Portal, where employees can log in and submit vendor requests. You then review their responses and decide whether to onboard the vendor.

How It Works

Step 1: Create the Vendor Intake Form

Build the intake form in Vendor Settings by adding questions to capture the details your team needs to evaluate a vendor, such as company information, services offered, security posture, and compliance certifications.

Step 2: Employees Submit Vendor Procurement Requests

Employees log in to the Scrut Employee Portal, enter the vendor's details, and complete the intake form. Once submitted, the request moves to Review Pending, and your team is notified.

Step 3: Review Submissions and Decide

The assigned reviewer reads the vendor's answers and approves or declines the request. Approved vendors are added to the Vendor list. Declined requests trigger an email notification to the employee with the reason.
