Bamboo HR integration syncs employee data from Bamboo HR to Scrut. This information is then displayed in the People → Employees module. Scrut fetches the following employee information from Bamboo HR:
Employee Name
Email address
Joining Date
Exit Date
Department
Reporting Manager
How To Connect Bamboo HR With Scrut
From the left navigation panel, select Integrations.
Click on Available.
Scroll to the Human Resource Information Systems section and find Bamboo HR.
Click Integrate.
Click Connect.
Click Yes if you are the admin for Bamboo HR.
The Bamboo HR credential window opens.
In the Subdomain field, enter the subdomain. For example, if you sign in at "acme.bamboohr.com", enter "acme".
In the API Key field, enter the api key.
How do I fetch the API Key?
To generate an API key, log in and click the name icon in the top right corner of any page on BambooHR to open the user context menu. With sufficient permissions, there will be an API Keys option in that menu to get the key.
Click Submit.
Once your BambooHR account is successfully integrated with Scrut, you will see a connected flag on the page.
Points to note
Employee data will start syncing immediately. Incremental data will be synced every 24 hours.
Data can also be manually synced by clicking the three dots and choosing the Sync Now option.
